Tension Release Exercise or TRE is a series of exercises that assist the body to release deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma.

About Tension Release Exercise

TRE safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension and calms down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return to a state of balance.

The reflexive muscle vibrations generally feel pleasant, relaxing and soothing. After doing TRE, many people report feelings of peace and relaxed well-being. It shows promise to help you in your pain management process, as well as to unwind built-up tensions
