Restorative Yogic Meditation
Through this meditation with slow movements, we can achieve physical, mental and emotional restoration and relaxation. Each pose is customized with breathing, gentle stretching and holding for a short period of time. Our nervous system is controlled by a fight or flight response and our parasympathetic nervous system is stimulated when we relax into poses, which promotes a relaxation response and reduces stress in our bodies. The parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for slowing your heart rate and breathing as well as increasing blood flow to your vital organs.
Frequent practice of restorative yogic meditation can ease common ailments such as headaches, backaches, anxiety, and insomnia. This class is available from June 2019 till July 15 2019 and reopen on September 01 2019.
