A study of more than 15,000 participants found an increase in the population of people with sleeping problems since the pandemic occurred. Sleep problems can lead to various health conditions such as anxiety, high blood pressure, stroke and heart failure.

Hypnotherapy brings you in a state of mind where you can experience focused attention, deep relaxation and better openness to suggestion. A study in the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine found that 58.3% of participants with sleep problems benefit from hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy can be used to treat insomnia by working on positively changing the subconscious mind, which is where many of the root causes of insomnia lie. By targeting the subconscious mind, stress, negative thinking patterns, and anxiety can be relieved which are some of the main causes of insomnia.

Hypnotherapy and Long Covid Brain Fog

Brain fog is a term commonly used to describe symptoms that can impact a person’s ability to think. It is often used when a person is disorganized or confused. Brain fog is among those that have been experienced by people with long-covid.

Experiencing several lockdowns can put our minds into confusion or in an unhealthy state. Lockdowns and worries when ourselves or the people close to us are infected by covid can cause stress, anxiety and trauma that can result in brain fog.

Hypnotherapy and other meditation techniques are effective in conditioning and relaxing our minds. When we are in an enhanced relaxation, our mind is easier to access and identify the root causes or the problem areas that we have. It helps you alter or control your emotions, thoughts as well as your physical state. By doing so, hypnotherapy can effectively determine and manage the root causes of your brain fog.
