Anchoring Relaxation
Creating a Hypnotic Anchor in Order to Create a Relaxed State on Demand
Practitioner: Phil Davies
What is an anchor?
An anchor is a trigger that will create an emotional or mental state when used.
We have many anchors that are set throughout our lifetimes, for example certain smells may transport you to childhood memories, certain foods being more comforting than others etc. Top athletes also use anchoring methods in order to ‘get into the zone’.
In this session you will be guided into a deeply relaxed state, where hypnotic suggestions will be given so that you may easily recall a relaxed calm state easily through a deep breath and a simple hand gesture.
By creating an anchor to a relaxed state, we can use this to calm ourselves in time of stress, anxiety or just to wind down quickly after a long day.

About the Instructor
For the past 22 years, Phil has been assisting people on their healing and spiritual journeys, a role, which in itself, took him on a journey across the world, expanding his skills and understanding, connecting him with some of the most incredible Healers/Shamans/Visionaries. The awakening of his intuitive self began in his teen years, as he began to experiment with meditation, which in turn led to the development of Mediumship and Energy Healing skills. In the year 2000 he moved to Hong Kong and began facilitating weekly Meditation and Self-connection groups as well as working as a practitioner at the famous New Age Shop, offering energy healing and facilitating Personal Development courses. During his period of working with the New Age Shop he also became a Practitioner of Emotional Freedom Techniques (E.F.T.) which added another ‘incredible string to my bow’.
