  • What should I wear?

    Comfortable, loose fitting clothes are recommended for treatments involving manual therapy – Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy. Alternatively a change of clothes and/or gown are available.
  • What is the best way to get there?

    We are walking distance from the Central MTR (Exit D) and the Mid-levels Escalator. Otherwise, a taxi will cost ~ $20 – $25 from Admiralty MTR station. View our location map for more information.
  • What if I can’t get in to see a therapist when needed?

    In the situation of acute cases we will always try our best to fit you in. If unsuccessful you will be placed on a waitlist and contacted as soon as a cancellation occurs.
  • What happens if I cancel?

    Cancellations are sometimes unavoidable. If you are unable to attend your appointment we appreciate 24 hours prior notice. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment you will be charged for the appointment.
  • Do you have direct billing through Medical Insurance services?

    No. We are not directly affiliated with any Health Insurance Providers. While there are considerable variations amongst individual insurance policies, most cover Osteopathy and Physiotherapy. Some providers cover natural treatments including Homoeopathy, Craniosacral Therapy, and Acupuncture & Massage. Please check with your insurance provider and your individual policy for details regarding your particular insurance coverage before your initial treatment at Balance Health, as you will not be able to claim following treatment.
  • Is parking available?

    Parking is available in both the Universal Trade Centre and the Centrium. Access is via Arbuthnot Road. Parking rates are: Universal Trade Centre $28.00 per hour. Payment can be made by cash ONLY. The Centrium $15.00 per half-hour (minimum) $30 per hour (Monday to Saturday) $80 per day (Sunday & Public Holidays) Payment can be made by Cash or Octopus. Please be aware that during peak times there is a high demand for these two parking garages.
  • How long is a consultation?

    Consultation times vary for adults and children and from therapy to therapy. Generally, an initial consultation for an adult is 1-hour. This is to ensure enough time is available to discuss your medical history, family history and symptoms of what prompted the visit.
  • Do you offer gift certificates?

    Yes. Holistic & natural health treatments or a relaxing massage are the perfect gift to treat a loved one, as a father’s day special or simply a thank you to a good friend or colleague.
  • Do you offer packages?

    Yes. We offer a wide range of packages with discounts on treatments. Package prices vary depending on your treatment plan. Please contact us for more information.
  • Will I require a written referral?

    No. A written referral is not necessary to make a booking.
  • Can I pay by EPS?

    Yes. EPS is accepted.
  • Can I pay by Credit Card?

    Yes. Visa, Mastercard and AMEX are accepted. We cannot accept credit card payment by fax, post or email.
